Part of growing up is watching your children do those momentous life moments. Such as with my 3rd child, Jed. His full name is Jedidiah Lee Gallina. Do you know who was named in the bible with Jedidiah as a name? I challenge to look it up.... 2 Samuel, 12:25. My husband thought of the name. Now don't get 1 Samuel 12:24 confused with 2 Samuel 12:24... That is story in itself.
Jed recently graduated. You can tell by the blogged picture. He is pictured with his grandmother we call MEME! We are very proud of him. He has been a home schooled student all his school life. He doesn't feel like he has been cheated out of anything. He has had one on one attention all those years. He has worked hard these past 12 years. Mom and son have butted heads many times and watched him excel at lots of things. I've been his biggest cheer leader~
He is a very outdoorsy person. Almost a redneck kind of guy. Even met one of those folks?
He wore a camouflage tie for his gradation. (see picture) That was 'him'. He loves to be alone in the woods, shoot animals, hunt for hours, and then come home and photograph what ever he has 'bagged'
He wants to go into the Army in the fall. He has a cousin who will turn 18 a few days before he does. He says he wants to be a sniper. I know he is getting well trained now.... We'll see!
We are very proud of him for all he has accomplished. He has been on two mission trips halfway around the world. Has a full time job and has the biggest heart! He would give you the shirt off his back if he could. He has great leadership skills and yet knows how to follow when needed.
We would like to thank our family and friends who supported him thru his graduation festivities. Though it was some what stressed for his mom, he felt very blessed. He isn't looking back!
Just thought I'd drop some thoughts on number 3 child. The child who has kept me on my toes since he was born!!!
Liz
number 3 child is very much like number 5 child!!

When I saw the picture I was on the phone with William and I told him that I had found the perfect tie for him! I have to find him one like Jed's!
