The last of the fireworks!! Tonight we had our fireworks show at church. It was postponed from all the rain we prayed for last week. haha we needed the rain~ But at last, good timing tonight. Clear skies, hot, no rain in sight, hot and dry! Did I mention HOT! At last when the sun went down as it should --then the cool came. We had a tremendous time of fellowship, Ben and Jerry's were there, a fabulous car show and a wonderful 45 minute fireworks celebration. We celebrated our nation's birthday and had a flag retirement ceremony which my husband oversaw. That was my first- his first too!~ AND my son arrived for the last of the fireworks. His plane was delayed so he came into Memphis late. Thank you to my daughter who went and got him and didn't get lost!!!

WE also gave or discovered Joshua can take some great pictures with my little digital camera. He had the best time. Here are some of the pictures HE ACTUALLY took. (above) Remember this was his first photo shoot. He will get better! We convinced him to take pictures of their heads and not just their bodies. Very good for a little boy of all three years old. Proves anyone can point and shoot!!

I think we found a new hobby for Josh~~~ We just need lots of batteries for the camera~
