RAIN AND NO POWER

hello Friends,

Life again in Romania is good. We had a interesting experince last night. Wehad just gotten to bed and the sky fell out with a good rain... but thunder followed.
We were talking and a clap of thunder clapped overhead. It knocked out the power to two of the floors here.. there are four. Apparently the bottom two floors are on one tranformer and the other two are on another. We decided that was a sign from God to go to bed. It was about 11:45pm. So our rain wouldn't work, what are you to do? Go to bed!~ We checked on the kids, which most were still awake.. they didn't look afraid.... So, it was a hot night.... I DO LOVE MY FANS... but no power meant no water in our room. Not a problem, just a inconveince to walk somehwere else for shower. I think they have it on now. I will never complain of my fan... maybe still for air!

I have enclosed some photos.....the kids are playing hard.. sometimes they have taken a nap in the afternoons because they are so tired. No wonder they won't go asleep at night~~~

We have been helping another team (15people) from America with the evening service... they were funny with their clowns.....maybe we can do 'how to get to heaven'..... a rubber chicken won't take you there folks~~~~ That team left this morning. They had several problems getting over here on planes that were broken, delays, turn arounds... today when they left they got bumped and had to wait again... 1 1/2 hours... I'm sure they are fit to be tied and the lack of sleep for them last night was draining too~~ they are flying over the ocean as I type~

So, it is now just our team, the 38 kids, the casa shalom kids and the staff. Much quieter now. Our house needs will decrease too. This truly is like a summer camp with all the extra people and activity. We do cause much more cleaning and cooking.

Speaking of food: we have tomatotees each morning. The team gets a kick out of my salt and drinking the juice to the last drop~ They will have tomotoes in heaven you know!~! We had chicken again, and some kind of good primavera sauce.. very good.
We had some kind of snack bar, like a little Debbie. I have been taking picures of our food products! Very funny~~ You can not be a picky eater and stay full here...
They do eat good~ can't complain about the food.

Okay~!~ I need to bring this to a close.... the kids must be in for movie time.
Finding Nemo was great.. today is popcorn day... it is hot again... rain brought in the sun~~ PTL~

will post many pictures, without titles... you will have to here the version I will tell later~ It is so unreal with love, fun, and mostly like america. The kids are very mindful and fun. They have unbeleivable handwriting and great drawers~!~!
