I'M HOME~~

Hello Friends,

 

The Gallina's have arrived home.  We arrived at the airport with touch down at 4:30 pm Monday afternoon.  We had been up for 21 hours at this point.  We did get much more sleep on these two flights.

Some of the girls on the team just stayed up all night. We left the home at 3:30 am.  Not much traffic at this point but we did see some strange things at that time of the morning.  They clean the streets at night and wee morning hours.  The streets were not bare but the traffic was significant lower. 

 

Our flight left Bucherest at 6am.  We met many teams, Amercian teams, coming out of Romania this day.  We were so encouraged with meeting Amercians and hearing what they were doing.  Romania is a wide open field for mission possiblities. 

 

We arrived in Amsterdam at 8am and had our 6 hr. layover.  We did a little shopping and ate at McDonald's again.  I thought I would try it all.  Bought me some Ketchup for french fries, Ice sweet tea.

DO not try the sweet tea at the airport.  GROSS amongo! Also, because no Euro's we paid Dollars,  very expensive meal, like 12$ expensive.  A meal deal????

 

Our six hours went fast and met more American's there also.  We attracted much attention with our team shirts.  Such a great idea.  It was a good thing.  Then we are off again for our last leg of the trip.  9 Hours.

I slept some of that trip, had lunch, listened to the French guys talk next to me, watched a movie, talked to more people who wanted to know about what we did.  I love air, but that plane was very cold. I was wrapped up in a blanket.  

 

When you get off from an International flight, you come off the plane to customs.  Stamped our pass port, answered questions about what we were doing.  Then go and picked up luggage.  Then you go up and drop off your custom form and drop off your check bags and then go thru security again.  Last check point is to pick up your luggage again after a long walk from the back of the airport.

 

We were grateful to get home. I am very tired and loving my air and seeing my family.  Josh was very excited to see us. 

 

It seems while I was gone, they broke the habit of the blankey~!~ He tells me it is GONE!  A GOOD THING!
