HELLO FRIENDS,
Yesterday the 3rd, was our 24th wedding anniversary. We went out Sunday to celebrate.
We started out at the Passion Play at Bellevue Baptist Church. Very good... Paul has never been there before and only had seen it at the old Bellevue when it was called Living Pictures.
Bellevue is a huge church. I'm sure it doesn't seem as huge when you attend there all the time.
Then we went to Texas de Brazil. Have you been there before? http://www.texasdebrazil.com/ It's a place where you pay a one set fee. They guys called Gauchos come around with cuts of meat and offer them to you at your table. It may be fillet Mignon, cuts of beef, pork, chicken. Just a small serving. They are SO good.
When you need a break, you flip a round card for stopping or keep the meat coming. Every once in a while you have to take a breather~
It was delicious and fun. Their salad bar had wonderful cheeses, and items to compliment a salad. Not your typical Shoney's bar. OH NO! This was a downtown restaurant with down town parking and walking. It was a beautiful night. I tried to talk him into a carriage ride, but I'm not sure we could of made it with being so stuffed! (the horses, jarring...)
Yesterday, the day of the anniversary, we took a friend to eat for her birthday and went thrift shopping. It was so much fun!!!! found my china my mom gave me and a creative memories album for great prices. It was worth spending every dime I had.
Let a girl go shopping and she is happy~ even 24 years later!
Liz
