We'll today is Josh's birthday. Fourth of July was already my favorite holiday and then when Josh was born, it really became my favorite one! Josh woke up crawling down the hall way and decided to come up and lick me. That was quite an unusual wake up method. Still reminds me he is still a little boy. He was really happy. We had a small party today with grandparents and some special friends. I captured a few of them in my photo gallery. It's hard to believe it's been three years since Joshua's birth. It's been a merry go round with a little guy around the home. He is a busy guy. You have to have at least one eye on what he is doing. Around here that would be 6 eyes or 12 eyeballs! He did love the fireworks last night at the Navy Base, he needed to sit in my lap and keep him safe. I know one day he will not need that and will want to sit NOT next to his parents!! But for the mean time, I'll put my hands over his ears and feel his heart beat!
Happy Birthday Little boy! You are quite a blessing, even at 3 am!

Absolutely adorable picture, Liz. Now, having a new one myself, I know the feeling - they are adorable - even at 3 a.m. - Christopher is too sweet to hold close to my heart at the wee hours of the morning & I too hold dear those moments. I love reading your stories & hate I don't have more time to write in return. Love and cherish your friendship and fellowship. Janice
Oh I love it! I had to hold Andrew (age 7) and cover his ears during our fireworks too. I will happily remember that when one of these days, he will not want momma to hold him.
