Don't you wish you had a 'snake killer' in your home? you do? thats great~ I AM NOT THE SNAKE KILLER IN MINE. I repeat... me and snakes stay well away from each other.

We were playing out in the yard and I saw Micah hacking something in the yard. When you are swinging the club like he was, only one varmit is getting killed. SNAKE. I ran over to him after Josh is running to me to tell me about the snake. Micah proudly picks it up, "get your camera mom', he says. Well, speaking of camera's-- I just happened to have it in my pocket... REALLY!! Josh was doing something cute on the horsey and I was snapping pictures... will include that one too! the hat, the boots!!

I was thinking after we flung the 'SPECKLED KING-SNAKE' over the road, what will I do when Micah leaves the house? Who will be my SNAKE KILLER? Then I realized I will have to depend on Josh to do the dirty jobs. The training part takes a bit, but well worth it. There is that 'time period' when they are not old enough to just assume the position, I have to be there to encourage, aim the gun, get the shovel or yell my head off.

Okay!

I hate snakes, I hate snakes. We don't see them often, but when I do, my skin crawls. Micah thought enough to look it up. A teaching moment in the making..............

THE 11TH HOUR

Friends and Family

It was a slow day in the Gallina household. Waiting on Jed to give us the all important call of his latest accomplishment. I have hope again he will call tomorrow. I didn't think I had anything to blog about till at the last hour of the day. My 4th child comes into the living room, when I thought he was asleep, so he startled me. He wanted to show me his new hair do! He normally has very flat hair. Right now he has lots of flat hair because Jed challenged him that he couldn't grow a mullet. So... the 4th being himself, he making that promise come true. I think there was monetary bet in there somewhere... So... when the 4th came into the living room, I said "Micah' hold still, I got to get a picture. He made me promise this won't be on my blog. SORRY... thats what you get for coming into my space at the 11th hour of the day. ALLS GAME!

So... he had this poofed hair and it felt really weird. Sort of like this fuzz on the top of his head.

I wonder what it will look like in the morning! We will see!

THE STREETS ARE SAFER IN MILLINGTON

The time as come for our 4th child to get his learners permit. They don't call it that anymore... It's called their "knowledge test".... see how much knowledge they have! oh my.....

Micah S. Gallina finally got his permit~ Wednesday, Jan. 2007. The examiner did a HIGH FIVE WITH HIM... I'm serious... I told his daddy he will be teaching this child to drive. Oh my... this one scares me to death... actually all of them have scared me to death.... but managed to come to their senses and drive actually well.

So.... now the 4th time we will do this again. What do parents of large families do??? They spend lots of time in their DMV.... Just wait....Your time is coming!!!

Our kids haven't had accidents of their own and I'm thankful for that... we have a really old car... caprice classic, '84... if there were an accident we would be doing some damage... it's got a long front and heavy~!

So.... beware~ MSG is on the road.....
