THERE'S LOVE IN THE AIR!

Hello Friends and Family,

Today was an awesome day!! It's not every day your daughter gets ENGAGED@@@@@@@@@
Yes, I said, ENGAGED!!! She will at a later date be, Mrs. and Mrs. Timothy Chapman. Tim as we call him, is in the ARMY.... He is stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC. A joy to have two sons in the ARMY. He has already gone to Iraq twice. Jed and him have met, but not recently. It is a bit of a juggling act to have the far away boyfriend and kids who have weird schedules also. I'm not sure we have all been under the same roof at one time. It will happen...... might be at the wedding.. but then we will all be one.

Anyhow..... today he proposed at a local park here in Millington, their park as they call it. He is a poet and is always writing poems... He had one for her today and it ended with getting on his knees with a ring.
Is that romantic or WHAT? I will at a later date, publish his poem. Oh my..... I will have fun scrapbooking that!!!!


so..... they leave tomorrow to go to his parents house in SC for Christmas. I will have just two kids home for Christmas. That will be different.

So, for now..... you will see two crazy kids in love, one 21 and the other 26. A girl staring at her ring, the other with admiring eyes. That is like looking at my marriage beginnings all over again!~ Isn't it great to be parents. We knew this day would come... just faster than we like??
