Hello Friends and Family
We'll our ARMY son is almost HOME... he is in Kuwait right now... he sent a FACEBOOK message to Rebekah.... I knew that would come in handy..... when he wrote it was probably around 7pm our time.. it was 3am his time, Friday morning.
He left Tues. morning... I have to admit it was hard to let him go.... harder than bootcamp! hard because we won't and can't see him till May or June. We have to wait for him to call to hear his voice... we can email or send Facebook messages.. but nothing like seeing each other in person or just picking up the phone when I feel like it and talking to him. I know my other military moms feel the same. Can I get a AMEN from them!!!!!
We so enjoyed our time with him. He was pretty 'stiff' when he came home. It took some time but he loosened up..... he never would sit down and have a conversation with me... he never wanted to 'sit' down... will have to work on a different approach next time. He was able to hunt, hunt and hunt. He did get a deer. And an 'accident' roadkill. I think he enjoyed his time.... he saw his 'chums'... saw his grandparents... saw old friends.... and church friends, took a road trip..... his time was full~
I realized what a great big help he is..... I so appreciate that about him~! He wanted to be a help too~
Okay~ He will be back to work soon... other guys will be taking their RnR.....I have a new look appreication of what he does..... I will try to get him to update monthly.
Keep praying for him..... all we can do right now.....

I think a web cam would be a nice "Merry Christmas to Mom and Son, from Mom and Son" don't you? At least that way you could see him and Josh could see him :-) By the way how did Josh take Jed leaving again?
