Hello friends,
One of the most exciting things we did, was to give each child a Bible in their language. My son has a source for buying Romanian Bibles. So, for one of our crafts we did, was to make a bible cover. It was a cool cloth kind, they decorated, very creative. It was hard to NOT tell them they were getting their own copy of the bible I showed them. We presented these to them on Saturday before they left. What they didn't know, was each bible, would have scripture verses in their language on the front cover of how to lead someone to Christ. You will see that in one of the pictures. Then each of us 'coaches' signed EACH Bible, so for me, Coach Liz Gallina. We had a signing party and got them all done.
Before I forget this one story. As we arrived in Romania, awaiting for our luggage. A security man came up to us and was inquiring what we were doing. We attracted much attention with our matching shirts. In the end, he asked us for a bible. So, one of the team members whipped out a Romanian bible and presented it to him. You never know what people will need.
We took his picture. Hopefully HE will go HOME and read this and either grow stronger in his faith or get saved!!! THAT WAS EXCITING.
so..... here are some photos of us doing our ' signing party' and the security man getting a bible.
What IF the kids give their bibles to their parents and they read it??? or a Grandma/ Grandpa reads it? or another child? THE GIFT OF ETERNITY GOES ON AND ON AND ON AND ON.....
HOW EXCITING!!!
