I always wondered if other countries have the same snakes we do.... I soon found out...
I had just asked the kids of the home if they have seen snakes... OH YES..... little would I know, I would get to see my request..... Let me say this... snakes are like magnets....kids love them but will squill and scream when they see them up and personal...
We were minding our own business during craft time, when the WORD spread, 'THERE'S A SNAKE OUTSIDE'.. I don't think all heard it or there would of been more kids for the lesson we were about to get...
During my trip, my camera was always in my pocket... I ran outside cause I knew there was about to be a photo session in this mayhem.... there the snake was, wiggling along side the building... of course the grown ups are saying, 'go back inside'.... you can see not many listened...
Then our wonderful friend Marius, whom you have seen in many pictures, was about to capture it.. I think he grabbed his hat.... WHY NOT BAREHANDED MARIUS?? .... as soon as he can get a good grab at him, he reached down and grabbed and swung him around pounding him back and forth on the pavement.... GOOD, NOW HE'S DEAD.... He wasn't big or deadly... just caused a giant scene..... at this moment, I said, WAIT.. let me take your picture.....You would have to know Marius.... he is pretending to kiss it... making everyone wince...then he brings it inside for ALL to see.... everyone was curious.... me... not the brave one with snakes... I started to pet it...
NOW FOLKS, I WOULD NEVER DO THIS AT HOME..... I wanted the kids to see it was not bad... a few tried it.... so, I took snap snap snap of photos!!! The venture was over and Marius took the snake somewhere and disposed of it..... It really looked like the specked kingsnake we had captured.... That was my opinion!
So..... I learned two things...
1. have your camera on you to hit the big story!
2. be ready in season and out of season!
enjoy photos
