I decided to feature food as my next post in pictures. We ate alot of food. Some very different and some comforting. The one food or related to food I missed the most was ICE. Yes, the cold stuff you put in drinks to make it even colder. We had cold drinks, but nothing like ice to crunch on later and keep your water bottles colder. Each time we ate something different I was there to snap a photo. The spaghetti sauce looking stuff was like blender sala, only sweeter. Great over pasta. My son assured me he could make it. The chocolate looking bars were great too.
The one think I Loved, was the chocolate spread. It was awesome!! A chocolate spread on bread!!! I did bring some of that back.
Our first 'out' meal was at McDonalds. It was the BEST McDonalds we have ever ate at!! The fries were hot, the coke was 'well down the hatch' and the double cheeseburger was awesome~
You have to remember to ask for ICE when ordering. And don't forget to pay extra for ketchup!
At the home we had, soups, french fries, chicken, bread, chicken, tomatoes, cucumbers, stuffed bell peppers, hot dog looking things, sausage hot dogs(I think), coffee, ice tea, koolaid (we brought), cereals, watermelons, chocolate spread, chicken, and a few more things.... It was all good. I do appreciate what we have in America!! We did eat a lot of chicken.
Okay!
Just thought I would post some 'food' items. The picture of me at the grocery store was just before the security guy stopped us from taking pictures. They have nice selections, but in small quantities..... you ought to see the toilet paper... it's shorter than ours... pink or white?
thanks for stopping by!!

Yep, I grew up overseas. So I really loved reminiscing over some of the food. Still not big on putting ice in my drinks. I can handle though. And recently, I actually sometimes want it.
They do sell Nutella at Walmart--chocolate spread for bread. I think it's near the peanut butter. I usually have it in my house, so come over sometime and I will spread you some chocolate bread.
I am eyeballing your packaged chocolate croissant and I do miss that.
I do not miss the ketchup. I very much prefer American ketchup.
