TIRES AND TWIN TURBO'S

HELLO FRIENDS,

 

Here I go again with a 'story' of my car.  I have gained a new tire again from a blow out.  I have had two in the past 3 weeks and now have 3 new tires.  I have inspected my 4th tire and it looks fine.  But I would of said that with the blow out tire this past week.  I had gone up the road, 1 mile, to get gas for the lawn mower, which is an entirely different story, and it is 1 mile back.  About an 1/2 mile back, I heard this distinct, Hisssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss   and then my car started to shake.  I immedialtely pulled over and knew I had a flat tire. 

 

REWIND: At the gas station, these cars, more exact, vr-4 Twin Turbo, 3000GT

Cars, 17 of them, came thru the gas station and I was admiring the beauty of the cars.  Not sure why they made the quick pit stop on the same side of the road.  But it was fun.  I ALMOST pulled out my camera and took a picture. 

But, instead I pulled out my paper and wrote what I saw. 

 

FAST FORWARD NOW: I was coming back from the gas station and we had the flat.   God is good...... why? I pulled over on the only side of the Hwy where there was a 10 foot ease way for 20 feet.  I was so thankful.  I called my daughter and brought the spare tire and Jack.  My dear friend, Mr. Dulin came and changed the tire for me.  It really looked easy to do but it can be dangerous on a very busy Hwy.    I thought of taking a picture of him changing the tire but I was looking out for big trucks.  I waited till I got home and did the photo shoot.

 

So.... there is beauty in cars! and thankfulness in flat tires and great friends who are willing to change them.

I'm thankful for my daughter coming (got her out of bed)

I'm thankful it happened 1/2 mile from my house
