A TEACHABLE MOMENT

I had this conversation with my 3.99999 child soon to be 4 year old son.
I am amazed what he is soaking in to his mind. He comes up with the off the wall stuff.

We were planting the last of my flowers and I commented that a rabbit must of been eating my flowers.
He I will name as 'J' and me as 'M' had this conversation:

M- rabbits must of been eating my flowers

J- Horsey's eat grass

M- What do cows eat??

J- I don't know...

M- grass too...

J- Tigers eat ... uhhhhhhhhhhhhh

M- meat

J- Mom we need to get a baby

M- girl baby or boy baby?

J- boy baby.... he motions to tell me how to hold it

M- what do baby's eat? drink?

J- uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

M- Milk.. like you did

J- I DRINK JUICE I don't like milk

J- sissy got me some chocolate milk...

J- Micah could hold baby...

M- we could get you a baby doll....
