Hello Friends and Family
Greetings from Columbus~~~ We were delighted to have our son today for a few hours. Let me rephrase this, not delighted, just plain giddy and happy~ We have been to his base and seen where he has resided for the past 20 weeks. I've asked him a hundred questions.... more to come.... we went out to eat steak and listened to him say , YES MAAM about 10 times.... That was music to my ears~
Tomorrow we will meet with his 'management' that has been taking care of him and get to ask any question. One of the 'restarts' has a father in law who is a 2-STAR general. The Captain will be standing at ease when he speaks. That will be something to behold. Jed thinks this man has something to do with them graduating this early after the mess up. We are not mad. Jed is not mad.. he knows he messed up. But I know there will be plenty of 'questions' asked that may not sound 'nice'. May there be grace to the hearers tomorrow...
Jed plans to take us around and show us a few things.... the MP's have been most polite to us tonight...
I'm excited to see ALL i can see during the day and document it will film. Will post more pictures tomorrow. Here are a few we took today. Josh was a little slow to warm up to his brother, he almost cried with embarrassment. But after he warmed up (30 min) they were inseperatable. Josh was kissing him and hugging and doing everything he could do to be next to him. I know he will cry when we have to leave Jed on Sunday.

The wait has been worth the prize!! A proud note for Parents. And watching others greet my son has been wonderful.

This is an exciting day in the Gallina Family! I know the Wagners are proud of Jed. Hope you have a great weekend with him.
