JED AND HONOR HILL

 

Jed starts his really hard training today..... THIS WILL BE THE LAST WEEK OF TRAINING BEFORE GRADUATION AND THE HARDEST...

 

Jed called the other day.  He had a 2 hour pass. 

 

He is in his last days of 'boot camp' and infantry training. (ARMY)

 

He is entering his very last phase, and maybe the hardest of everything.

 

He calls this  F.T.X week.(he says the infantry's version of hell week)   It is a 7 day  6 night long event.  They will get very little sleep, less than 10 hours of sleep.  How they do that, I don't know.  They will march 32 miles and at the very last they will go up HONOR HILL.  and receive their cross rifles pin.  A HUGE DEAL FOR INFANTRY persons.

 

He is very excited.  He knows this will take every inch of his endurance and strength.

 

So.. now would be the time to pray for him, starting Tues. and will last a whole week. 

 

After this is over, I'm sure they will sleep for a few days and then begin cleaning all their equipment and be ready for graduation on March 7th.  We will hear from him hopefully on the 26th

He will then stay there for Airbornne school for 3 weeks then come home and help recruit for a short amount of time.  We don't know how long he will stay but long enough to wrap our arms around him and love on him.

 

So.... please bombard heaven for Jedidiah Lee Gallina's sake for the next week, starting Feb. 19th...
